Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Current Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills/Abilities
- Communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
- Work with children between the ages of birth to 7 who are at risk.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of databases, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
- Handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
