Qualifications

  • Education/Certification: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Current Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills/Abilities

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
  • Work with children between the ages of birth to 7 who are at risk.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of databases, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
  • Handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations.
