Position Details
Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
Location: Fall River, MA (+ additional locations)
Schedule: Full-TimePart-Time
Pay Rate: $55–$65/hour (guaranteed pay for scheduled time, even if student sessions are missed)
Setting: Public school (PK–12)
Start Date: 2026-27 SY

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities
- Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to PK–12 students
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments across age groups
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
- Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
- Support students with: Articulation and phonology, Receptive and expressive language, Social/pragmatic communication, Fluency and voice disorders, Adapt therapy approaches for early childhood, elementary, and secondary students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
- Active Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility)
- DESE Educator License (Speech, LanguageHearing Disorders) or eligibility
- Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
