Responsibilities
- Screens, evaluates, and treats patients
- Treatment planning and goal setting
- Family education and documentation
- Ensures compliance with organizational guidelines, professional standards, and community needs
- Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients
- Participates in cross-disciplinary coordination to provide consistent patient care
- Engages in quality assurance and customer service activities
Requirements
- Masters of Science in Speech/Language Pathology
- Licensure or certification as required by State guidelines
- CPR Certification
- One year of Speech/Language Pathology experience preferred
- One to two years of experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility preferred
- Students in their CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) will be considered
