Speech Language Pathologist

Hamaspik of Kings County Inc. is seeking per diem NYS Licensed Speech Therapists to provide therapeutic services in home settings for our Early Intervention program serving all 5 NYC boroughs, with high demand in the Bronx. We value a team-centered, multi-disciplinary therapeutic approach.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children diagnosed with developmental delays
• Create family-centered treatment goals to facilitate carryover and maximum progress
• Monitor and assess intervention effectiveness utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach
• Maintain appropriate documentation of therapy sessions and caregiver communication
• Educate families and caregivers about the therapeutic process

Requirements

• Previous experience with children who have disabilities, particularly in Early Intervention
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to improve the quality of life of children with special needs
• Bilingual (Yiddish and Spanish) a plus
• DOH fingerprinting clearance

Pay
