Speech-Language Pathologist

About the role

Engage Senior Therapy provides on-site physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to senior living communities across New England. Our team delivers compassionate, relationship-centered care to help patients maintain mobility, independence, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate speech therapy care and treatment for a geriatric population at various functional levels
• Work across multiple locations, providing speech therapy services to a diverse range of patients
• Conduct evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs
• Provide care with a high degree of independence in assisted living communities, supported by the broader Engage team for guidance and resources
• Provide patient and caregiver education to support therapy goals
• Accurately document care using EMR in compliance with state and facility standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active or pending SLP license
• Strong interest or experience in geriatric care
• Skilled in communication, interpersonal relationships, and patient engagement
• Passionate about providing evidence-based, high-quality care
• Committed to learning, growing, and contributing to a team
