Evaluate and treat

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize each resident’s potential
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards

Collaborate

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive resident care
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment strategies, communication techniques, and swallowing safety

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • A compassionate, resident-centered approach and passion for improving quality of life
