Evaluate and treat
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize each resident’s potential
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
Collaborate
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive resident care
- Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment strategies, communication techniques, and swallowing safety
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
