Children’s Specialized ABA is part of the Children’s Specialized Hospital Autism Center of Excellence. We serve children with ASD by combining clinical innovation, whole-child care, and personalized therapy. Responsibilities
- Administer standardized tools, score, document, and contribute to integrated evaluation reports.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess communication skills, including articulation, fluency, language comprehension, social communication, and pragmatics.
- Interpret assessment results in developing individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with the client’s needs and ABA objectives.
- Implement evidence-based speech and language therapies, using techniques that promote language acquisition, communication development, and social interaction.
- Tailor interventions for children with ASD to enhance functional communication and reduce communication-related challenges.
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other clinical professionals to create and adjust treatment plans, as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and communication logs.
- Prepare reports summarizing progress and outcomes to share with parents and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- 2+ years of experience in language development, speech sound disorders, and feeding/oral motor skills preferred.
- 2+ years of experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working with children with ASD.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively.
Qualifications

Schedule
This is an in-person, part-time role based out of our Clifton NJ EI Center, with an expected caseload between 10-20 hours per week. Clinical sessions are conducted onsite, while notes and documentation can be completed remotely from home.
