Responsibilities

  • Engage with children through various therapeutic activities including imaginative play, feeding, articulation, AAC, and social communication.
  • Collaborate with other therapists such as Occupational and Physical Therapists to ensure comprehensive care plans for each child.
  • Document sessions effectively and maintain open lines of communication with families to support their needs and progress.
  • Utilize available technology and electronic medical records (EMR) to streamline administrative tasks and enhance clinical practice.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or a related field.
  • Current license to practice SLP in your state.
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably in a therapeutic setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients and families.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
