Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role

Aventura at Pembrooke in West Chester, PA is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join a progressive therapy team. This position offers consistent weekday coverage for a leave in a newly remodeled, well-equipped facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits
• Help residents achieve goals to improve cognition or swallowing
• Provide education for residents and caregivers
• Assist residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility information by keeping it confidential
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
• Contribute to team effort
• Perform daily documentation and billing
