Speech-Language Pathologist

About the role

You will assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You may also perform research related to speech and language problems and implement alternative communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Achieve positive outcomes for patients through assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Implement alternative communication systems as needed.
• Participate in research related to speech and language problems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
