About the role
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing in-home, senior living, and virtual care to older adults.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one speech therapy in various settings, including private residences and senior communities.
- Perform evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to enhance patient mobility, independence, and quality of life.
- Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety and aging in place.
- Utilize telehealth and virtual care to extend reach and flexibility.
Qualifications
- Valid state license or eligibility, degree from an accredited program, and current ASHA CCC certification.
- Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, repositioning patients, and driving to care locations.
