Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Requirements & Responsibilities

• 1 year of previous pediatric experience is preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant from an accredited college or university.
• Active North Carolina Licensure in SLPA and ASHA certification.
• Pass a Background Check.
• Accurately document in EMR system.
• Communicate with child's healthcare providers through progress reports, phone calls, and other forms of communication.

We are looking for an energetic, growth-minded Speech Language Pathologist Assistant with pediatric experience that enjoys the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of children and is creative in educating the children's guardian/family.

Physical Demands

• The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• The employee is also frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. is also required.
