TheraPeds Partners is a therapist-owned and operated organization. We partner with schools to provide Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services to PreK-12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high-quality Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Deliver individualized therapy and complete assessments
- Collaborate with educational teams and participate in treatment planning
- Work closely with the supervising SLP to support service delivery, clinical development, and student outcomes
- Conduct screeners and monitor student progress
- Participate in direct services, documentation, preparation, consultation, team meetings, and other professional responsibilities
Requirements
- Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA-approved institution
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA, where required
- Experience working with children
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in the use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
Physical Requirements
Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
Schedule
- Part-time, 20 hours per week
- Four-day work schedule during the 2026-2027 school year (August through May 2027)
- Fully on-site position in a collaborative school setting
Pay
- Competitive compensation of $40-$55+ per hour
- Estimated weekly earnings of $800-$1,100+
- Bi-monthly salary deposits

This position will be a W-2 employee or a 1099 contractor, with eligibility for benefits dependent on employment status.
