About the role

This role is responsible for providing support to speech-language pathologists in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients improve their communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations of patients
  • Help prepare treatment plans and provide ongoing care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Support the administrative tasks of the SLP team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS)
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and its applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially
  • Good physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the day

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
