Responsibilities
- Provide engaging speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support children in developing speech, language, social, and communication skills
- Partner with families and caregivers to promote carryover and celebrate progress
- Keep detailed documentation and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
Requirements
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Texas
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics
- A positive, energetic attitude and a heart for helping children
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field preferred
- Current certification as an SLPA from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
