Speech Language Pathologist Application

About the role

Community Medical Center, Inc in Falls City, Nebraska is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist. The SLP will assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with multiple disciplines to care for both in-patient and out-patients across a variety of diagnoses, with the goal of delivering the best patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities
• Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited college/university with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Possess a Speech-Language Pathology license and be able to practice in Nebraska
• BLS certification
