Speech Language Pathologist - AAC Specialist

About the role

Enhance communication and therapy outcomes for individuals with complex needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using AAC technologies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
• Evaluate and improve AAC systems and strategies
• Provide training and support to patients, families, and caregivers
• Contribute to research and professional development in AAC

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
• Experience working with individuals who use AAC
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Experience with various AAC devices and software
• Knowledge of AAC assessment and intervention techniques
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
