Sign-on bonus: $7,000 - $8,000 (for NYS licensed SLP's). Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available.

About the Role

The Summit Center is Western New York’s leading provider of evidence-based services for children and adults with autism and other developmental, social, and behavioral challenges. Our team is dedicated to helping every individual we serve achieve their highest level of independence.

Pay

$65,000 annually for licensed SLP's.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week for full time.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver services as mandated by Individualized Education Plans
  • Create and maintain all required documentation
  • Participate as part of the educational/clinical team for each student
  • Apply best, evidence-based practice methods
  • Demonstrate professional knowledge of children with developmental disabilities
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with families
  • Track data and make data-based decisions
  • Assess student progress on a regular basis
  • Manage behavioral challenges

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders and/or Sciences or Speech Language Pathology
  • NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • NYS Certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or NYS Certified Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
