About the Role
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting, providing direct speech and language therapy to students, conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEP goals, and collaborating with educators and families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support student communication and success.
- Maintain compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress.
- Support licensure and onboarding processes for school placement.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Washington state licensure in good standing or eligible.
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
- Valid educator license or eligibility in Washington.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, assessments, IEP development, and collaboration.
Skills & Preferences
- Experience with special education processes and reporting systems preferred.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
Schedule
Work days are Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, following the academic calendar.
