Speech Language Pathologist $10K Sign-On Bonus

About the role

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year in Royalton, Vermont. The position offers guaranteed pay, a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, exceptional support, and a caseload tailored to your interests. You will work with students across various grade levels and communication needs in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech‑language therapy services in school‑based settings
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy through individual and small‑group sessions
• Support students with articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, social/pragmatic communication, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and AAC/assistive communication needs
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers (OTs, PTs, Special Educators, School Psychologists, district teams)
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
• Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• CCC‑SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF‑SLP/CFY)
• Active Vermont SLP License or eligibility
• School‑based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• AAC experience preferred

Pay

• $50–$60 per hour
• Guaranteed pay for scheduled time (even when students are absent, sessions are canceled, field trips occur, or schedules change)
• $10,000 sign‑on bonus
