Description

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll evaluate, treat, and support patients through personalized therapy plans, collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Congduct thorough clinical evaluations tailored to patient diagnoses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with functional, measurable goals.
- Deliver effective therapy interventions and adjust plans based on patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, prognosis, and home exercises.
- Monitor for adverse responses and modify treatment accordingly.
- Plan and execute timely discharges with appropriate recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing.
- Participate in team meetings, staffing's, and family conferences.
- Collaborate with other professionals and make referrals as needed.
- Provide guidance to rehab techs, volunteers, and students.
- Support departmental initiatives including CARF, JCAHO, and performance improvement.
- Attend and contribute to in-services and maintain required competencies.
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Indiana.
- Current CPR certification.
Experience
- Preferred: Clinical experience in a Speech Therapy setting.
- Acceptable: New graduates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
