Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders or Communication Disorders from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Speech language Pathology
  • NH SLA Certification from the NH Office of Professional License and Certification
  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience working as an SLA or experience working with children preferred

Essential Responsibilities

  • Documented supervision will consist of no less than 10% of direct time per week (on-site, in view) and 5% indirect time per week.
  • Assist the Speech/language pathologist with speech/language and hearing screenings without making interpretations.
  • Perform speech therapy as directed by Individual Education Plans developed by a licensed SLP.
  • Document client performance (charts, records, graphs) and report data to the supervising SLP to track client progress and quality improvement.
  • Aid in clerical duties such as preparing therapy materials, scheduling activities, and maintaining supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with departmental operations such as maintaining supplies and equipment and a safe work area.
  • Attend parent meetings with a Licensed SLP.
  • Aid the SLP with in-service training and a public relations program.
  • Participate in staff development, attend meetings, and attend in-services as scheduled.
  • Work at multiple sites.
  • Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
