SPEECH/LANG PATHOLOGIST

Qualifications/Certifications

• MA/MS or higher with a graduate major in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution and eligible for DOE certification or DOH License.
• OR BA/BA in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution and must be enrolled in Graduate-level coursework prior to expiration of temporary DOE certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI Training) may be required by assignment.
• Eligibility for certification form the Florida Department of Education in Speech-Language Impaired and/or Licensure from the Florida Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
