Speech And Language Pathologists

About the role

The Central Intermediate Unit 10 (CIU 10) is seeking Speech and Language Pathologists to serve Preschool Early Intervention and K-12 students in Centre, Clearfield, and Clinton Counties.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy sessions to students
• Evaluate student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
• Experience working with preschool and school-aged children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of students
