About the role

The Home Health Speech and Language Pathologist measures and evaluates language abilities, auditory processes, and speech production, and/or conducts treatment of persons with speech, language, voice, hearing, and swallowing disorders. Assists the patient in establishing an optimal functional communication system to express physical, emotional, and social needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required or in compliance with the state practice act.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Positions in Home Care will require current valid driver's license with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
  • One year of relevant experience preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).

Any offer of employment will depend on qualifications such as skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
