About the role
The Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking a full-time Speech and Language Pathologist for a one-year position. The ideal candidate must hold a current license and certification from the New Hampshire office of Professional Licensure and Certification. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in educational settings.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students for speech and language impairments/disorders
- Train in the use of evidence-based speech therapy techniques and tools
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Provide mentoring and additional professional development
- Offer support as needed
Requirements
- M.Ed Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Communications Disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of child development and Communication sciences
- Proficiency in using therapy and office related software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
