About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
- Assist in the development and implementation of special education programs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and IEPs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Illinois teaching certificate in Special Education
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
