About the role
Spurwink Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time position within our Portland Day Treatment Program. The role offers a diverse professional experience including screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities, ages 5 to 20.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Provide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment.
- Provide in-service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies.
- Supervise assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology required.
