Responsibilities
- Completing evaluations
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student progress
- Reporting on student progress at meetings
- Developing reasonably calculated goals to support student progress
- Writing IEPs and other special education paperwork in compliance with Maine Unified Special Education Regulations
- Providing consultation to regular and special education teachers around the communication needs of students
- Developing and implementing communication plans
Requirements
- Ability to bill MaineCare
- Ability to use multiple databases to access and update student information
Qualifications
- Special education case management experience is a plus, but not required
Full time position part of the teachers bargaining unit with benefits per the negotiated agreement.
Position will remain open until suitable candidate is found.
