Responsibilities

  • Completing evaluations
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student progress
  • Reporting on student progress at meetings
  • Developing reasonably calculated goals to support student progress
  • Writing IEPs and other special education paperwork in compliance with Maine Unified Special Education Regulations
  • Providing consultation to regular and special education teachers around the communication needs of students
  • Developing and implementing communication plans

Requirements

  • Ability to bill MaineCare
  • Ability to use multiple databases to access and update student information

Qualifications

  • Special education case management experience is a plus, but not required

Full time position part of the teachers bargaining unit with benefits per the negotiated agreement.

Position will remain open until suitable candidate is found.
