About the role

Join a collaborative team of clinical providers in a Critical Access Hospital where your work helps improve access to care across our community. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license across the full continuum of care, supporting patients across settings and throughout their recovery journey. You will engage with a local interdisciplinary team and a Coastal MaineHealth peer network, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and shared best practices across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, hearing, and swallowing disorders.
  • Support patients in developing effective, individualized communication strategies to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to both pediatric and adult populations in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Contribute to program development and innovation, helping to expand access to essential rehabilitation services within the community.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required or in compliance with the state practice act.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
  • One year of relevant experience preferred.
