Speech and Language Pathologist

About the role

This position supports the speech, language, and communication needs across students with special needs as well as students being determined for possible special education eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Be well versed in speech and language assessments
• Implement specific interventions both in individual and group therapy
• Familiarity with the evaluation, re-evaluation, and IEP process
• Billing and assistive technology for students with unique speech disorders
• Provide direct therapy and consultation to teams
• Maintain case management of students with Speech and Language Impairments
• Contribute to providing speech as a related service across multiple grade levels

Requirements

• A valid and active Pennsylvania Department of Education certificate for Speech and Language Impairment
• Evidence of Certificate of Clinical Competence
• Previous experience in the school setting
• Experience with students with autism (preferred)

• New Teacher Orientation dates: August 20-21, 2026
