About the role
The SPED Teacher - Moderate Needs Interventionist provides individualized service delivery through inclusive practices, supporting students in and outside of the general classroom.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for, attend, and communicate student progress during IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with IEP and Assessment Specialists in developing the IEP.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- May be required to travel within district boundaries.
- Collaborate, communicate, and consult with general education staff regarding modifications, accommodations, and curriculum/interventions.
- Develop, monitor, and report on student Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- May co-teach (per chosen model).
- Identify, coordinate, and deliver intervention services as outlined in IEPs.
- Play an active role in manifestation determination meetings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to determine Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) programming.
- Cookordinate and monitor student-specific and/or program Educational Assistants as assigned.
- Case manager of student needs and parent communication.
Requirements
- Colorado READ Act designation, which can be acquired via the options described at https://www.cde.state.co.us/coloradoliteracy.
- Special Education Generalist License - Colorado Department of Education.
- Bachelor's Degree: Special Education (Required).

Pay
This position is eligible for a range of salaries based on one of three salary schedules: General, Hard to Hire, and Specialist/Extremely Hard to Hire. Schedule
Full-time (1.0) FTE, 40 hours per week, 185 work days per year.
