About the role

Seeking a Special Education Teacher with endorsements in any of the following codes: 066, 067, 069, 086, 105, 144, 145, 460, and 461.

Responsibilities

• Write and implement all components of an Individual Education Plan (IEP)
• Use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students
• Schedule teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration to meet all local, state, and federal requirements for special needs students
• Hold structured IEP meetings to meet all requirements
• Use students' academic performance data to make accurate decisions to meet students' needs
