SpEd. Teacher (Math Inclusion)

Responsibilities

• Write and implement all components of an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
• Use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional students.
• Organize teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration to meet all local, state, and federal requirements for special needs students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and conduct structured IEP meetings to meet all requirements.
• Use students' academic performance data to make accurate decisions addressing student needs.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Interact with students in a supportive and effective manner.

Requirements

• Valid Special Education Teacher Endorsement (codes: 066, 067, 069, 086, 105, 144, 145, 460, or 461).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
