Compensation

Local Assignment: $70/hour (approx. $2,625/week)

Travel Assignment Estimated Weekly Package: $2,970/week
Taxable Rate: $26/hour
Meals Stipend: $602/week
Housing Stipend: $1,393/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized special education instruction based on student needs and IEP goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor student educational programming.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff.
• Maintain required documentation and progress reporting.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning.
• Support students with behavioral and academic needs in a self-contained classroom.
• Foster a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state Special Education teaching certification as required by district and state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Comply with applicable professional standards of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum one year of teaching experience.
• Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement.
• CPR certification, TB screening, and health documentation if required.
