SpED Paraeducator - Support Center (SC)
About the role
This is a continuing position with a 190-day KAP calendar. Daily hours average 6.5 hours per day, with daily schedules varying based on student days.
Pay
Hourly salary ranges from a minimum of $30.89 to a maximum of $37.99. Salary is annualized and spread through August, with step placement based on verified years of experience in an educational unit.

Requirements
- Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution, or
- 72 college-level credits from an accredited institution, or
- A score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high school completion or equivalent.
If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the ParaPro Assessment, you can still apply. If selected as the finalist, you will have the opportunity to take the test prior to being formally hired.
Post-Hire Requirements
- Completion of state-required training offered through the KSD Professional Development Team.
