The SpEd District Behavior Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Hutto, TX. The specialist will develop, implement, and coach campus administration and educators on behavioral programming for students with significant behavioral needs, PreK‑12.

Responsibilities

• Develop behavioral programming for students with significant behavioral needs.
• Implement behavioral interventions across PreK‑12 campuses.
• Coach campus administrators and educators on effective behavioral strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Valid Texas teaching certificate.
• SAMA certification, or willingness/ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• BCBA certification preferred but not required.

Experience

• Minimum of three years teaching regular or special education (public school experience preferred).
• Minimum of two years working with students who have significant behavioral needs.

Skills

• Solid understanding of basic behavioral principles.
