About the role

The role involves providing educational support to students with special needs in a classroom setting. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, implementing lesson plans, and collaborating with teachers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with special needs in completing daily tasks and routines.
• Implement lesson plans and activities tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, other staff members, and parents to support student progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Schedule
