About the role
Responsible for providing educational support to students with special needs in a classroom setting.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist students with daily activities and academic tasks
- Monitor student behavior and progress towards goals
- Collaborate with parents and other professionals to enhance student outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid teaching license in Special Education
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passing score on a background check
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using assistive technology
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
