SPED Aide

Position Available:** SPED AideLocation: ** Union High SchoolDuties: ** A Special Education (SPED) aide provides direct, hands-on support to students with intensive physical, cognitive, and behavioral needs under the direction of a lead teacher. Daily responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living---such as toileting, personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility---while reinforcing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals through modified learning materials, visual schedules, and augmentative communication (AAC) tools. Additionally, aides monitor safety, record academic and behavioral data, execute Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and help de-escalate challenging behaviors to maintain a secure and functional learning environment.Salary: ** As per district salary scheduleApplication Deadline: ** Open until filled.
