About the role

HII – Mission Technologies is seeking an RF Engineer to join our Spectrum team, a group with more than 50 years of experience in wireless communications supporting the DoD, U.S. government agencies, and commercial partners both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform radio frequency interference (RFI) analyses for satellite systems.
• Write detailed reports and/or messages describing the analysis methodology and presenting the results.
• Review technical documentation to obtain the RF characteristics of satellite systems.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of communications systems.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Experience with MS Excel, Access, and Word to perform analyses and write reports.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a secret level security clearance.

Qualifications

• LEVEL ONE - 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• LEVEL TWO - 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• LEVEL THREE - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in realted field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
