St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full-time Specimen Processing and Phlebotomy Laboratory Supervisor.
About the role
Under the supervision of the Manager, Laboratory Services or authorized designee, and pursuant to Federal Regulations with clinical oversight by the Medical Director or appointed Pathologist, this role supervises, coordinates, and performs phlebotomy and processing services for the Main Laboratory and the Outpatient Center.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates phlebotomy and specimen processing services.
- Performs phlebotomy and specimen processing duties.
- Monitors and performs quality control procedures.
- Observes and enforces laboratory safety regulations.
