Specimen Management Specialist / Specimen Accessioner

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequent sitting, standing, using hand and finger dexterity, talking, and hearing.
• Visual acuity necessary for operating equipment, reading technical information, and keyboard use.
• Occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious material.

Training Support

Participate in the orientation and training of departmental staff.

Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to protocols and regulatory compliance.

Clerical Responsibilities

Perform directed clerical duties within the department.
