Specialty Welder

Location

Shipyard in the Marinette, WI area.

Open Positions

• Seam Welder – $32 per hour
• Specialty Welder – $32 per hour
• Pipe Welder – $34 per hour

Pay range: $32 – $34 per hour plus $150 per diem for non‑local candidates.

Requirements

Pipe Welder:

• All GTAW 6G, Open Root CUNI (6”, class 200)
• At least 3 years of shipyard TIG pipe welding experience, or 1–2 years shipyard experience combined with a minimum of 5 years industrial pipe welding (TIG) experience

Seam Welder:

• FCAW 1G, 2G and 3G positions – steel
• Must complete a simple FCAW 4G test (not x‑rayed)
• At least 3 years shipyard experience, or 1–2 years shipyard experience combined with a minimum of 5 years heavy industrial experience
