Key Responsibilities
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, and longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring an understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel on technical solutions.
- Develop and deploy full-stack solutions, utilizing Python for backend development and React for the frontend user interface.
- Build and consume REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Develop machine learning solutions, including advanced AI modeling, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
- Build or integrate chatbots and conversational AI into new or existing systems.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python for backend/application development and React for frontend/UI; Experience building and consuming REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems; Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure development and deployment; Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated deployments, and environment management; Knowledge of relational, NoSQL, and vector databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, AWS Lambda, SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI, NLP, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or prompt orchestration frameworks.
- Experience designing multi-cloud application architectures and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployment models.
- Experience with MLOps practices, model lifecycle management, and production monitoring.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and solution design skills in cross-functional environments.
