About the Role

As a Style Consultant at Target, you'll be part of a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences through strong operations, visual merchandising, and a guest-first culture. This role is ideal for someone passionate about apparel, accessories, and creating inspiring shopping environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable about assortments and brands.
• Leverage store tools to manage sales, inventory, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push merchandise to the sales floor, and locate products in the backroom.
• Set visual presentations and follow merchandising guides to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain product availability through priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Organize the backroom to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations to keep the shopping experience inspiring.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising, including signing execution.
• Assist guests in the fitting rooms and ensure merchandise is returned to the sales floor.
• Support guest services, including backup cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up.
• Greet guests, provide assistance, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Work safely, comply with policies, and report hazards.

Requirements

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel and accessories.

• Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment.

• Resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
• Remain composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Capability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile during shifts.

• Visual merchandising and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.

Pay

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.00 USD per hour
