About the role

Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned responsibilities and integrate Mercy Philosophy into work ethic.
• Communicate with patients, families, visitors, and employees in a caring, friendly, personal, and professional manner.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and meets all state board of nursing requirements.
• Preferred: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent, and other unit-specific certifications as required.
