Clinic Specialty RN - Mercy Heart & Vascular Hospital

Serves as primary liaison between specialty physician and patient. Responsible for communicating with patients, assessing and evaluating their needs, and advising patients of the recommended actions or course of treatment as directed by the Physician.

Position Details

Location: Hybrid (Mercy Heart & Vascular Hospital, 625 S New Ballas Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63141)

Type: Full-Time

• Must complete three months of on-site training prior to transitioning to hybrid work-from-home schedule
• Must be available to come on-site for monthly clinic meetings

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients and assess their needs
• Evaluate patient conditions and advise on recommended actions or course of treatment as directed by the Physician

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• RN licensure in the State of Missouri
• Minimum 1-2 years in cardiology preferred (hospital, ER, testing, or clinic settings)
• 2-3 years of clinical experience
• BLS and ACLS preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
