Our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy specializes in Oncology, MS, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases and we're adding Pharmacy Technicians to this team!
This is an onsite position.
Public Transportation/Subway Accessibility close by (A,C,E,L Trains).
Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in clients
- Make refill calls
- Set up deliveries to patients
- Answer phones
- Process, fill, and ring out prescriptions
- Work closely with others to process prior authorizations, copay assistance, and benefits verification
Requirements
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
Qualifications
- Preferred: Previous CVS Experience
- Preferred: Specialty pharmacy experience
- Preferred: National Pharmacy Certification
- Education: Verifiable High School diploma or GED; or equivalent experience
Skills
- Motivated, organized, detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn new operating systems, pharmacology, and medical technology
