Specialty Physician Assistant-Cardiac OR (Intrastaff)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient’s health status through diagnostic procedures and tests.
• Supports surgical team by performing minor surgical procedures.
• Provides therapeutic patient care under direction of a physician and in accordance with established protocols.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with hemapro vein harvesting device mandatory.
• 2-3 cases per day weekend on-call availability if interested.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed an AMA approved Physician Assistant program.
• Registered/certified by the Maryland Board of Quality Assurance.
• Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Current CPR certification required.
